Criteria of normal EKG with vertical axis
1. P and T waves are upright in lead I
2. q < 0.02 sec duration in leads II, III, and aVF
3. Frontal plane QRS vector is between 0 and 90 degrees.
4. Precordial progression from r in V1 to R in V5 and V6.
5. T concordant with QRS.
6. QTc < 0.44 sec.
7. PR < 0.20 sec.
