RIGHT TENSION PNEUMOTHORAX.
The axial CT scans of the chest demonstrates the presence (asterisks) of a large right pneumothorax which has caused deviation of the mediastinum towards the contra-lateral hemithorax. Note the (arrow heads) compression of the lung parenchyma. Note the subpleural bullae. This indicates that there is some degree of intrinsic lung disease and that there may be a significant recurrence of pneumothorax.
