| Description |
The conduction system is malfunctioning and is in anarchic state. Any contractions of the atria that gets through to the ventricle is irregular. The sounds are best described as chaotic. |
| Findings on Examination |
Arrhythmic contraction of the atria gives way to rapid series of irregular spasms of muscle wall. No discernible regularity in rhythm or pattern. |
